Rishab Namashivaya, best known as ‘Ray,’ is a recently retired professional player who has turned to coaching to further his tennis journey. Singapore has been his home base, from where he travelled the world to compete in regional, ITF junior, and men’s circuits.

Ray credits much of his experience to practicing under reknowned coaches like Todd Clarke, an Aussie ATP-certified performance specialist who has developed multiple United States college (NCAA division 1) and top 100 (ITF) junior players. Ray has also been part of the high-performance team at the prestigious Rohan Bopanna’s Academy in India and has been training with the Singapore Davis Cup team.

As a coach, Ray had the privilege of working with players at all levels. From beginners picking up a racket for the first time to high-performance players. From young children to senior citizens and students with disabilities at various prestigious Singapore Institutions: UWCSEA Dover, The American Club and Tennis Inc.

Despite of his young age, Ray has experience coaching girls and boys who have achieved top 10 rankings in Singapore, have won multiple titles, and have successfully entered the ITF junior circuit.

Ray’s background and knowledge allow him to emphasize that tennis is not only a physical sport but is strongly determined by mental resilience. Passionate, he seeks to bring out the best in every student and is committed to advising parents on how to establish and maintain a healthy and supportive parent-athlete relationship. Especially for those aspiring to improve their children chances in the Direct School Admission (DSA) program

Coach Ray holds a coaching certification from the International Tennis Federation and a valid First Aid certificate.

We are proud to welcome Coach Ray in our team. This will enhance our capacity to deliver the best options to all our tennis enthusiasts!
