Born in 1993, Luc Barthelemy hails from Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur in the south of France. A region renowned for its rich tennis culture and home to prestigious academies and ATP tournaments.
Coach Luc is extremely versatile and passionate about pedagogy and education. His method helps players understand the reasons behind their achievements and failures. Seeing a smile on a player’s face after a successful shot is his greatest reward.
As a player, he has numerous stories to tell. At age 13, he was ranked in the top 10 nationwide, with 35 local and regional tournament victories. He was a ball boy at the Marseille ATP Open 13. He participated in international tournaments and has trained alongside top French and international players.
Coach Luc holds a professional French Tennis Coach State Degree, which is recognized as the highest tennis certification in the world.
His main professional experience is running a holistic tennis coaching program for a renowned association in La Fare les Oliviers, for seven years. He has also taught internationally during school holidays at Atlas Tennis Academy in Morocco and served as a private coach at the Four Seasons and Royal Mansour hotels.
In addition, he has conducted several tennis masterclasses and camps, worked with kindergartens and primary schools, and organised from scratch competitive tennis tours with accommodation. Luc has also trained the son of Thomas Enqvist, a former top 3 world player, at an international school.
Coach Luc resides in Tanjong Katong and is available to teach in both Central and East Singapore. He can conduct lessons in private residences, public courts and the new Kallang Tennis Hub.
