It is raining, then how?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

If we have to cancel or delay a lesson due to inclement weather, we will notify you at least 45 minutes before the start of the class. We closely monitor the forecast for rain by using the NEA rain radar. We will do our best to ensure some play and when necessary, we will arrive earlier to squeeze out the water. If you do not receive any cancellation message, the class is considered to proceed.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

What if it rains during the class?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

\n\t\t\t

We will stop and move under shelter. Your fee will be charged in proportion to the time completed, rounded to the nearest \u00bc hour. We will try to make up for lost time. We will keep the children under surveillance until their parent \/ caregiver picks them up.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Do I or my child need a racquet?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

\n\t\t\t

For the first couple of lessons, this is not necessary. We will bring one for you. Once you are sure you wish to continue with more lessons, we will provide you with all the details (size, weight and grip) required to buy a suitable racquet. We will also provide you with a list of reliable tennis retailers in Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

When to pay?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

First Timers and Gift Vouchers:<\/strong> Payment is required before the class.<\/p>\n

Private Classes:<\/strong> Payment can be made right after the class – on the same day – or following our invoicing.<\/p>\n

Group Classes:<\/strong> Payment can be made following our invoicing.<\/p>\n

Packages:<\/strong> Payment is required before the third class.<\/p>\n

Must I pay cancellation fees when my child or I is sick?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

Yes, these fees are unrelated to the reason for late cancellation.<\/p>\n

They have been implemented due to high cancellation rates and significant scheduling challenges.<\/p>\n

The fees serve as compensation for having to decline other inquiries, cover our substantial administrative workload, and enable us to maintain affordable rates.<\/p>\n

Additionally, they provide a guarantee for your coach to work in a secure environment with peace of mind.<\/p>\n

Why is the fee for the entire group higher than for a private lesson?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

Larger groups require more effort, organizational skills, and equipment. The related expenses and costs are higher and involve significant administrative tasks.<\/p>\n

Group coaching is an area where we provide exceptional value compared to the current standards of group coaching in Singapore.<\/p>\n

Our fee structure balances affordable rates for private classes with more profitable group classes. Lowering group fees would necessitate raising private lesson fees, making them unaffordable.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Better group or private?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

We usually advise first-timers to start with a couple of private or semi-private sessions before joining a group class.<\/p>\n

For young players, adult returners or advanced players, they can join a group immediately. For competitive players, we recommend to do one private and one group class a week.<\/p>\n

For children, unless this is to make-up or to improve a specific pre-defined area, we recommend that private classes does not exceed 50% of the time they spend on the court.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

How many sessions per week?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

During the rainy season, for competitors, we recommend two sessions (group and\/or private) per week. On the contrary, when the weather is hot and dry or during school exams, training once a week is enough.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

How long to get fundamental basics?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

Around 5 to 20 hours depending on your age, fitness and the consistency of your training.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Will I see a consistent improvement?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

Improvement rate is not always linear. You must be patient and go through different stages. There is a \u201cdigesting\u2019 time before one new learning can become solid. But it will. You will improve a lot at the beginning, then you might observe a stage less rewarding, then you will improve fast again. The key principle to improve fast is to have consistency in your training.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Can parents or guardians stay on the court while kids are training?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

Parents are welcomed to stay on the court provided they are able to: Not communicate with their children in any manner (talking, gesturing), not move around the court (picking up the balls), stay quiet and relax on the bench.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Can parents or guardians record training sessions?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

Parents or guardians can record training sessions, but only for a short duration not exceeding 2 minutes. Cameras can significantly distract players and coaches, add unnecessary pressure to the training, and raise legal considerations. Therefore, we aim to minimize these recordings. However, we are happy to arrange for a professional and detailed video analysis that can be shared with the players and their relatives.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Do you arrange participation for the Kids\u2019 Team League and Women WITS League?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

Yes, we register and manage some JTTL Teams for young competitors. We also have a strong network of reliable parents and coaches to ensure that all our players can participate.
\nWe do not register and manage teams in SMASH league. However, we actively help parents who are interested to set up their team.
\nWe also help ladies wishing to join a WITS Team by working closely with some of the most committed and reliable team captains in Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Do you replace overgrips?<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

You can get a good deal with the 20H packages but please take note of the validity period.<\/p>\n

We try to be flexible with big families of 2 to 4 children.<\/p>\n

Our rates are in the low end of the Singapore market range. Hence there is not much room for extra discount.<\/p>\n

A good option when budget is tight is to share sessions with others.<\/p>\n

Thanks to our individualized approach, our semi-privates and group classes are very efficient for improvement.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
